Dr. Sonal Deshpande is also a member of numerous dental organizations. When away from her dental office, the doctor enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids.

Dr. Nadiya Khan was born and raised in Ukraine. While growing up in a family of doctors, she used to attend art school where her most favorite subject was sculpting. Inspired by her parents treating and curing patients and her love of doing artwork, she chose the dental profession.
Dr. Khan attended and graduated from dental school in Ukraine in 2009 and NYU school of dentistry in 2014. She graduated from both schools with honors as valedictorian.
While attending NYU, she was part of was the honor program: "Patients with disabilities". This program helped her to become more proficient in treating severely medically compromised patients and patients with disabilities.
Dr. Khan completed 1 year GPR in VA hospital in NJ. While attending residency, she was moonlighting in a private dental office. It gave her additional opportunity to finesse her skills in different areas of the dental field.
Dr. Khan had a chance to work in several dental offices prior to joining the team of Brilliant Smiles in 2016. She has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry, especially in performing root canal treatment. She is a very caring and compassionate practitioner, who prides herself on the relationships she builds with her patients.
When she is not taking care of patients, she loves spending time with her daughter and husband. She loves traveling, hiking, and skiing.
Dr. Steven Reff uses his extensive dental experience to provide the highest level of surgical care in a gentle, compassionate manner. He is your dental implants specialist at Brilliant Smiles of North Plainfield. Dr. Reff received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he graduated at the top of the class.
He was also a member of the prestigious Gamma Pi Delta Prosthetic Honor Society as well as President of the dental school’s Global Outreach Program and Oral and Maxillofacial study group.
Dr. Reff completed his surgical-based training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he has admitting privileges and periodically teaches postgraduate dental students in addition to maintaining his private practice.
When he is not practicing dentistry or pursuing professional development, Dr. Reff enjoys hiking with his yellow lab, fly-fishing, and spending time with his wife and children.
Dr. Mitesha Patel obtained her DDS degree from VCU School of Dentistry, Richmond, VA. Dr. Patel is a caring and detailed-oriented dentist who strives to deliver the very best in dentistry. Dr. Mitesha Patel is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with her patients in a modern, comfortable environment. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Patel loves traveling, hiking, sewing, and cooking.
