Unlike other surgeries, this surgery is done in 3 stages.
Stage 1: Osseointegration is the first step. The dentist opens the gum and places the implant in the jawbone and seals the gum. The titanium implants begin merging into the jawbone after fixation. This is called osseointegration. The recovery time of this procedure is 6 months.
Stage 2: Fixing of the support for holding the crown. The support post is called an abutment. The recovery of this procedure is 1-2 weeks. Stage 3: After the recovery, the custom-made tooth is fitted on the abutment.
