What should I expect at my first appointment — will it take forever?
Your first visit is straightforward and designed to respect your time. Dr. Deshpande will review your dental history, take a look at where things stand, and talk through any concerns you have — no pressure, no lectures, just a clear picture of your oral health and what, if anything, comes next. Most new patient appointments wrap up within an hour, and we do our best to keep things moving so you can get back to your day.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Just bring your insurance card, a valid photo ID, and a list of any medications you're currently taking — that's really all you need. If you've had X-rays taken at a previous dentist recently, you're welcome to request those records ahead of time so we don't repeat them, but it's not required to get started. We'll take care of everything else when you arrive.
Can I get an appointment soon, or is there a long wait?
We work hard to offer flexible scheduling that fits around school drop-offs, work hours, and everything else a busy family juggles — so we'll do our best to find a time that actually works for you. Give us a call or send us a message and we'll let you know the earliest available options. We know life doesn't always allow for a two-week wait, and we take that seriously.
What if something comes up and I need to cancel or reschedule?
We completely understand — life with a family or a demanding schedule means plans change. Just give us as much notice as you can so we can offer that time to another patient who may need it, and we'll get you rebooked as quickly as possible. Our goal is to make working with us easy, not stressful.
What forms of payment do you accept, and do you offer payment plans?
We accept most major insurance plans, and for patients with coverage, routine cleanings and exams are typically covered at no out-of-pocket cost. For treatments beyond what insurance covers, we offer flexible payment plans and 0% financing options so cost doesn't have to stand between you and the care you need. If you're unsure what your plan covers, just let us know — Dr. Deshpande's team is happy to help you make sense of your benefits before your appointment.
